On June 11 and 12, 2026, LCMS Lutheran singles from across the Midwest gathered at The Gospel Gym in western Wisconsin for a day of faith, fellowship, and fun— and we had a wonderful time!
It was encouraging to see something we (The Garms Family) have hoped for become a reality: single Lutherans coming together to meet new friends, enjoy good conversation, study God’s Word, and simply spend time with people who understand what it’s like to walk through this season of life.
We Talked About What Matters
The day included time a Bible study on love with Pastor Daniel Pfaffe, meaningful conversations, and opportunities over meals to get to know and encourage one another.
Sometimes it’s refreshing just to sit across the table from someone who shares your faith and understands the joys and challenges of being single in the church.

We Had Fun, Too!
Of course, no gathering is complete without a little friendly competition!
From activities and games to meals and laughter, the day gave everyone chances to relax and get to know one another. And while some people came knowing friends, many arrived not knowing anyone at all.
By the end of the day, there were plenty of new connections— and hopefully a few friendships that will last far beyond the event.

We Gave Each Other Hope
Perhaps the most encouraging part of the day was simply being reminded that you’re not alone.
There really are other single Lutherans out there who love Jesus Christ, value the God's Word, the confessions and family, desire meaningful friendships, and also wonder what God has in store for their lives.
Sometimes, all it takes is bringing people together.

And We're doing it again!
After such a fun gathering, we’re excited to welcome LCMS Lutheran singles back to The Gospel Gym on October 10–11, 2026! Come for the fellowship. Stay for the friendships. Grow together in Christ— and see what God might have in store.
We’d love to have you join us.
